Message To Our Asian Brothers and Sisters
United in solidarity with the Atlanta Asian Community
We deeply mourn with the victims and their families over the most recent and vicious attacks in the Atlanta metro area. Beulah Heights University stands in solidarity with the community to detest and denounce any violence. To our Asian brothers and sisters, faculty and staff condemn violence. Regrettably, this spike in incidents against Asian Americans has created a fear that ultimately affects us all.
Here at the University, we reject the politics of fear along with xenophobia, racism, and dehumanization. Anyone who advocates hate-motivated crimes will not be tolerated on this campus. As President Biden stated, “it’s wrong. It’s un-American. And it must stop.”
My heart and prayers go out to all who have been affected by these tragedies.
We are much better together than apart!
