Merit Communication Portal

1. A student accomplishes something noteworthy (award, publication, leadership role, service, etc.).

2. BHU’s Student Success Office receives the nomination and drafts a short feature article.

3. The article is published on the BHU Achievement Network and linked to the student’s personal profile.

4. Students, family, friends and alumni can view and share the accomplishment via social media and university networks.

5. Each student profile acts as a dynamic, institution-verified portfolio* that the student can reference for internships, employment or graduate school.

The portfolio is automatically generated by BHU; students may choose to add additional materials (photos, video clips, bio, experiential highlights).

BHU Achievement Network recognizes a variety of accomplishments:

• Scholarships and awards

• Conferences and research presentations

• Global and cultural learning experiences

• Graduation and milestones

If a student is making progress — we want to celebrate it.

• Build your online presence with verified recognition from BHU.

• Offers a visual résumé of your achievements from the moment you enroll through graduation.

• Make your talents and contributions visible to employers, graduate programs, coaches, mentors and family.

• Amplifies your story — when you share, you help strengthen the BHU brand and showcase what our students can accomplish.

• Nominate a student: Faculty, staff or student-leaders can submit student names, accomplishments and basic details to the Student Success Office for review.

• Claim a profile: Students will receive an email with instructions to claim and customize their profile (photo upload, add bio/work experience, link to social profiles).

Share your story: Once published, we’ll send a link you can use on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook or your digital résumé.

We respect your privacy. If you prefer not to have your accomplishments published on the BHU Achievement Network, you can notify the Student Success Office at any time and your profile will be removed, and future postings for your achievements will be paused.
