Foreign Transcript Evaluation

Foreign Transcripts

International students who have attended a foreign educational institution (high school, college or university), must have the foreign transcripts evaluated and translated into English to be considered for admission into Beulah Heights University.

Evaluated foreign transcripts are used to verify that an applicant meets the minimum qualifications in the discipline for which they are applying.

Evaluation Process

Step 1: Request your Transcript

Request for a copy of your official foreign transcript(s) for high school and/or college(s) attended from your original school.

If you already have a copy of your original transcript, you can move on to Step 2.

Step 2: Submit Transcript for Review to Evaluator (Option 1 or Option 2)

Submit foreign transcript(s) to any of these agencies listed below & request a “document by document” evaluation and translation.

Note: The student has the option to provide the official transcript to the University for a preliminary in-house review by the Academic Office to determine if a formal evaluation is needed. The transcript MUST be translated into English.

Step 3: Receive Evaluation Report

Once the transcript has been submitted through either Option 1 or Option 2, the BHU team will review and verify all foreign transcripts in accordance with the desired degree program.

Once the Academic team has completed the review, the student will be notified of the next steps by the Enrollment Team.

Option 1:

Third-Party Evaluation

If your college or university education was completed outside of the United States at a school that is not regionally accredited in the U.S., third-party evaluations are required for the courses to be recognized as equivalent to a U.S. high school, baccalaureate or graduate-level work. 

Students should request a course-by-course evaluation including a grade point average (GPA) be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Transcripts will need to be translated into English before an evaluation can be processed.

Evaluation Submission Options

Physical Transcripts:

Official transcripts must be physically mailed to the university at the address listed below:

Electronic Transcripts:

All transcripts must come through a secured
database directly to admissions@beulah.edu.
(i.e., Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse,
Escrip-safe,etc.…).

 

Beulah Heights University currently accepts evaluations from the following agencies:

Option 2:

Preliminary In-House Evaluation

The student has the option to provide the official transcript to the University for a preliminary in-house review by the Academic Office to determine if a formal evaluation is needed.

All transcripts MUST be translated into English to be considered for review.

Students who choose Option 2 must complete the form listed below is to request an initial evaluation of foreign transcripts. The Academic Team will review the document to determine if the transcript is deemed qualifying for the desired degree program.
