Nonprofit Development & Leadership

Content: this course will teach participants how to develop, create and file proper documents to obtain a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Nuances such as appointing a Board of Directors, taking minutes and the creation of bylaws will be explored.

CERTIFICATE COURSE FEE: $300
(50% Scholarship will be extended to early bird applicants up to 48 hours before class start date: discounted registration fee for course $150)

Lecturer/Instructor 1: Dr. Rashad Richey

Dr. Rashad Richey has an extensive background in nonprofit development, executive leadership and fundraising. He has successfully created over 100 nonprofit organizations and sits on the Board of Directors for Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Recovery Consultants of Atlanta, Inc., Ocuprep Training and Children Rights. Dr. Richey holds several advance degrees including a Doctorate from Clark Atlanta University, completed studies in Executive Leadership from Cornell University and is currently completing his law degree at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
