Dr. Walter Turner’s Recent Passing

Dear Students and Faculty Members,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that we lost Dr. Walter Turner over the weekend. This is a tremendous loss and he will be dearly missed.

The family has requested privacy as they mourn. A private graveside service will take place and when permitted due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life service will be held.

Should you wish to send flowers, donations, or condolences cards, please send them to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1645 Cartersville Hwy. SE, Rome, GA 30161. Please put them to the attention of Dr. Walter Turner’s family.
