Institutional Scholarships

We are pleased that you are interested in learning about scholarship opportunities at BHU. Scholarships are a great source of funding for higher education. We encourage you to apply with many organizations and scholarship providers besides the BHU scholarships. Please use this website as a resource. Although many opportunities are presented on this website, we encourage you to seek scholarships from other sources as well.

  • First-Time Students- A first-time student is eligible to apply for a scholarship after attending one full academic year (fall, spring, and summer), or three consecutive semesters. Each application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. An application does not guarantee a scholarship award.
  • Returning Students- A student's former enrollment history will be assessed to determine when the student will become eligible to apply for an institutional scholarship.
  • Acceptable SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress)- Any student submitting a scholarship application must be in good academic standing.
  • A scholarship may be awarded only once within an academic year. An award is limited to two per degree program.
