AI LSE (AI Literacy, Security, and Entrepreneurship)

Is originally from Macon, Georgia. He served six years in the United States military, where he built a strong technical foundation in information technology and communications.

During service, he supported mission-critical communication equipment, performed routing and switching tasks, managed COMSEC programs, and ensured secure and reliable systems in operational environments.

His military experience included deployments to Jordan, Korea, and Kuwait, where I gained valuable hands-on experience supporting global operations in fast-paced environments.

Following the military, he transitioned into the civilian workforce and currently works with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), where he supported project management efforts and delivered IT support services. I hold an active Secret clearance and have earned my CompTIA Security+ certification, reflecting my commitment to cybersecurity best practices and secure system management. He is currently pursuing a degree in cybersecurity.

He is passionate about using technology not only to protect systems, but also to help promote the responsible development and importance of AI within our communities.

Outside of his professional journey, he is a proud parent to a 17-year-old daughter, who is currently a junior in high school and serves as one of his greatest sources of motivation.

Terry has spent years doing work he genuinely loves; helping organizations figure out where technology can actually make their lives easier.

His sweet spots are AI integration, process documentation, automation, and strategic planning, and he's walked alongside countless teams through the messy, exciting process of digital transformation — the kind that actually sticks.

Terry works primarily with small and mid-size businesses, and he takes pride in meeting them where they are. Whether that means helping a team define their IT priorities for the first time, untangling workflows that have quietly grown out of control, or finding tools that can grow alongside the organization, his focus is always the same: clarity, real impact, and solutions that people will actually use.

As an educator, he has a gift for taking technical concepts that feel overwhelming and making them approachable, even exciting. His training sessions aren't death-by-slide-deck; they're hands-on, grounded in real experience, and built around helping people walk away ready to do something.

He's especially passionate about AI — not just helping professionals understand it, but helping them lead its adoption in their organizations with confidence, intention, and a thoughtful eye toward ethics.
