Dr. Plant is a passionate Scholar and Educator. As an Assistant College Professor, she teaches courses in Practical Theology, Biblical Studies, Church History, and Ethics. She earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Regent University in 2016. Her dissertation focused on the historical profile of women in leadership in the Independent Black Baptist Church and considered how the church might continue forward with leadership formation for women serving in ministry. Rev. Dr. Plant earned her Master of Divinity degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 2005 and her BA degree in Religion from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia in 2002. Dr. Plant believes education is an integral part of one's self actualization and that it should be accessible. She currently serves at Beulah Heights University as the Director of Digital Learning and the Coordinator of the Doctor of Ministry Program.
