Job Title: Enrollment Coordinator & Translator – Africa Global Partnership Location of Employment: 892 Berne St. SE, Atlanta, GA 30316 Job description as advertised: JOB DESCRIPTION: Represent the University both on- and off-campus to prospective students and current students. Provide one-on-one admissions counseling to the African student populations. Perform admissions counseling through in-person appointments, phone calls and emails. Review students’ applications, records and other materials submitted by applicants for the purposes of making admission decisions. Coordinate and contribute to the success of recruiting programs which target prospective applicants to the University. These programs require significant collaboration with other departments and offices across campus. Remain in close consultation with the Director for Admissions to make sure that students remain in good standing with immigration. Work with various departments, including Student Accounts, Registrar, Financial Aid, Admissions, Student Life, and the Library. Be familiar with the functions of all University departments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, Communications, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in an education-related occupation. Master of Business Administration degree preferred. Fluency in Swahili is required. The position also requires experience with the student recruitment process; experience with promotion of academic programs; experience with budget analysis; experience with SEVIS; successful completion of SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Program) Training for Designated School Officials; experience using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience working with Registrar, Financial Aid and Admissions offices on a college/university campus; and experience in working in an academic environment with African students. Student/Work-Study Positions
Federal Work-Study Eligibility:
A student enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student is eligible to receive assistance from the FWS Program if they are eligible for Federal Student Aid from the Department of Education, have completed a FAFSA application, and have been awarded funding. In addition, a student must have financial needs; that is, his/her cost of attendance (COA) must be greater than his/her Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and they must not already be awarded up to their COA limit. After you have applied, your eligibility will be reviewed as a part of the hiring process. If you have questions or need more information please contact the Financial Aid Department.

POSITION TITLE: Library Assistant – Work Study.
REPORTS TO: The Library Director.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Library Assistant serve the vision of Beulah Heights University.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Opening and Closing the Library Facility
Greeting and directing customers
Teach students how to use library resources
Answer questions from students
Answering telephones and taking messages
Assisting patrons in locating materials
Assisting patrons in using Digital Devices
Charging and renewing materials
Catalog and maintain library material
Maintaining an organized workstation
Creating Student’s I.D.
Providing Library orientation for students and faculty members
Maintaining records and collections
Reporting to the Library Director
Weeding collection of worn-out and obsolete materials as necessary
Other duties as assigned
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Thursday 8-5

Over the past two years, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the institution has invested in its Edu-technology infrastructure. We added a new flexible Learning Management System that helps us drive better learning outcomes. Beginning fall 2022, we implemented a new Student Information System that will allow us the capacity to integrate for better efficiency and service to our students. We are also adding additional training and tools to support faculty toward work proficiency and continuous development. You are joining us at an exciting time. New Faculty Onboarding is not a one-step process but includes multiple steps that will happen throughout an academic year. It will feature initial training, ongoing training and development, educational resources, and professional networking opportunities.
